Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA to join our fully remote team.

The Lead QA will own and lead the quality assurance function across our software projects, ensuring products meet functional, usability, reliability, and release-quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role involving test planning, manual testing, defect management, release validation, QA process improvement, and close collaboration with Product, Development, Design, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

QA Leadership

• Own and continuously improve the QA process across the software development lifecycle.
• Establish appropriate testing approaches for new features, releases, and projects.
• Ensure requirements are adequately covered by test scenarios and cases.
• Maintain clear QA documentation and testing traceability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform hands-on manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate new features, fixes, integrations, and release candidates.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Reproduce issues and work closely with developers to investigate and verify fixes.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
• Identify potential quality risks before they reach production.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software QA experience, with experience leading or owning QA activities.
• Strong hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience creating test plans, test cases, scenarios, and QA documentation.
• Strong experience with functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Excellent defect reporting, investigation, prioritization, and tracking skills.
• Strong AtTenTiOn to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Experience in Jira & Confluence is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a QA function or mentoring other QA professionals.
• Experience with Playwright/Selenium
• Experience with Maestro

Compensation

Compensation largely depends on interview performance

• Part-time salary: up to 50K BDT max
• Full-time salary: up to 100K BDT max
